Surf routes, ready for review

Build 47 was submitted to App Review with the same recording changes tested in build 46. It is not listed here as a public release yet.

The Watch keeps its bounded GPS trace through the end of a surf, giving individual wave maps more recorded points to draw from.
Session details continue to distinguish the full route from estimated rides and let you reflect with Neptune.

No feature changes from internal TestFlight build 46. Earlier sessions whose GPS fixes were already discarded are not reconstructed. Wave detection and GPS accuracy still depend on the recording conditions.

More detail in each wave map

Build 46 removed the Watch’s final 400-point reduction of a surf’s GPS trace. The recording can now retain more fixes for short rides.

Individual wave maps can use the GPS fixes captured during the ride instead of a heavily reduced session trace.
The Watch still bounds its live route buffer and can transfer larger captures to the iPhone.

This build does not change wave detection, repair weak GPS fixes, or reconstruct points already discarded from an older session. The images show sample sessions, not a measured result from build 46.

Clearer recording stop details

Build 45 made an unexpected Watch workout end visible and added diagnostic details to the iPhone recording export.

The Watch can show “Recording stopped early” when the surf workout ends unexpectedly.
Recording Details exports include the Watch stop reason and capture evidence to help diagnose a short recording.

This diagnostic update does not recover time or waves missed after a recording stops. The sample screens below do not show the early-stop warning.
